it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.
My Project
Please help give my students the love of historical fiction through reading The Magic Tree House! In 2nd grade, students are introduced to the historical fiction reading genre. The class set of Magic Tree House Earthquake in the Early Morning is a high interest text that will keep students engaged while learning about the elements of historical fiction.
Since the students have an interest in earthquakes, it will certainly help bring the idea to life by reading about the real events surrounding the famous San Francisco Earthquake of 1906.
This collection aligns well with our landform unit and will also add to our classroom libraries for learning, research and engagement.
