This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Project

My second language learner students are able to use a district assigned app on their Chromebooks that allows them to learn English. Unfortunately they need a great quality set of headphones with a microphone to be able to block out class noise and be able to give verbal responses.

These headphones would be very beneficial for these students to learn their second language which is English.

They currently do not have headphones and cannot afford to bring their own. Our school does not provide them for us either.

Our school is a Title 1 school which means most of our students qualify as low income households.
