My Project

Bringing the World to Our Classroom Through Cooking!

In our International Cooking Club, students embark on a delicious journey worldwide, exploring diverse cultures through food.

Many of my students are English Language Learners (ELLs) from various backgrounds, and this club provides a welcoming space where they can celebrate their heritage, build confidence, and strengthen language skills in an engaging, hands-on way. Cooking together fosters community, collaboration, and cultural appreciation, allowing students to share family traditions while learning about others. Your generous support will help us purchase ingredients, cooking tools, and recipe materials, ensuring every student has the opportunity to participate. By funding this project, you’ll empower students to connect, learn, and create lasting memories—one dish at a time!
