Help me give my students interesting informational text books that are easy to read !
FULLY FUNDED! Ms. Parker's classroom raised $230
This project is fully funded
My Students
My classroom is self-contained, and I teach in an urban area. Reading is very important, and I want to highlight the importance of it this year with this group of students. I do know that I will have a variety of students on different levels. I have a group of students that come from different backgrounds.
My Project
Purchasing these books will help make a difference in several ways. Students will have a closer and more personal look at non fiction books, I plan to use these books with a STEAM approach. We will vote and make charts to take sides. We will write informational reports on the animal that we picked. The students will learn and create a poster displaying the animals adaptations and habitat. It is very important that each student get their own copy of each book , incase we have to go virtual the remainder of the school year. The students will have resources at the touch of their hand , while they are at home.
Nearly all students from low‑income households
