Interactive Workspace with Magnets

My students need magnetic math manipulatives and anchor charts. The anchor charts and writing paper will allow my students to have exemplars sentence frames posted during reading, writing, and math lessons.

My Students

My bright and talented first grade students attend a Title I public elementary school in California. The students come from diverse cultural, linguistic, and socioeconomic backgrounds, with needs as diverse as their backgrounds.

My classroom is a wonderful mix of intelligence, enthusiasm, and curiosity.

These hard working students come to school each day excited and ready to learn. All students are a welcomed and celebrated part of our classroom community. Let's work together to help these students reach their fullest potential!

My Project

My students need magnetic educational tools like clocks, hooks and ten frames to help create a hands-on work environment. These items will allow my kids to practice their math skills while having fun. In first grade, students need to gain a foundational understanding of numbers. This means students need to work building numbers using different hands-on tools and writing numbers in different ways.

The anchor chart and writing paper will allow my students to have exemplars and sentence frames posted during reading, writing, and math lessons.

The examples and sentence frames are especially critical to helping my students continue to develop their English language skills. All of these items will allow me to add so many skills into a fun and exciting interactive workspace.
