Help me give my students these musical instruments that were specifically chosen to teach volume and pitch.

My Students
Our students are in an area where the Arts are not emphasized outside of the classroom. Our schools do a great job of keeping art, music, and PE as classes, however, our students do not get exposed to art and music outside of the classroom.
Our district is an hour away from a large city with cultural events.
Therefore they do not get to see professional cultural events. Our school funding has to go to meet many of our student's basic needs for the classroom - pencils, notebook, etc.
One of my science units is sound energy. There are many great activities that would enable students to actively be engaged in lessons that involve instruments. These activities using instruments would help students grasp the concepts of pitch and volume.
We use videos, but some hands-on activities would go a long way in helping students grasp the topic of sound energy.
My Project
The terms volume and pitch are often confused by my science students. Even though the music teacher uses the same vocabulary, they are not able to make the connection from music class to science class.
Musical instruments in the Science classroom would increase my students' music and science connection!
The instruments would take the place of rubber bands and glasses of water. Don't get me wrong, students love the activities we do for volume and pitch, however, but they are just not making the connection and when it is time to assess them on Sound Energy, volume and pitch are often confused.
Please consider helping me bring these tools into my already interactive classroom!
