Interactive Technology Project

My students need 16 interactive Smartboard games to enhance their learning of reading, math, & science, plus 3 calculator kits and foam number dice.

My Students

Do you remember what it was like to learn reading and math with paper & pencils? Wouldn't you like to have practiced those skills interactively with your peers? These interactive games for our Smartboard will do just that!

Our class is made up of a diverse group of learners.

We are trying to reach the different learning modalities of each kid and build upon their strengths. The class is working in teams, and this project will build their teamwork and friendly competition.

My Project

When the students use the Smartboard, they are active in their learning. They are engaged in the activity. They are excited to learn. Whether working individually or as teams, they will learn and show what they know. After one of our first Smartboard activities a student said, "This lesson was the best. It was so much fun."

This project is important because it builds the students' learning, increases their attention, and exposes them to a different way of learning.

These games will also create a sense of teamwork. These games are another way to reinforce the state standards the students need to master by the end of the year.
