My Students

My students are an amazing group of third graders. They are enthusiastic about school and embrace everything we do in class. They love reading, P.E., math, and science. Our school is a kindergarten through eighth-grade school located in rural California. It houses 450 students. Our school is surrounded by forests and mountains and has daily visitors such as geese, turkeys, and deer.

My school had a fire on January 26.

I lost my entire classroom to smoke damage. The materials requested in this project are to help my students and I rebuild our classroom and supplies.

My Project

My students need Post-its, notecards, Sharpies, pens, ink and label tape for our interactive journals. We use interactive notebooks for language arts, math and science. We use them to add notes, content, reflections, reference materials, etc. We use them daily as they are a tool for reference and learning.

The materials requested in this project will be used for our notebooks.

Students will use the notecards and Post-its to add content to the journals. They love having colorful paper/notes to use to make their journal more engaging.

Students will use the ink, Sharpies and pens to decorate and write in the journals. The label tape will be used to add decorative labels to divide the sections of the notebook.
