it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.
My Project
Reading aloud plays a crucial role in developing literacy skills and fostering a love for reading. However, many students struggle to engage with traditional storytelling methods. Novel Effect offers a solution by enhancing the reading experience with interactive soundscapes that captivate students' attention and immerse them in the story. Our library currently lacks a sufficient collection of Novel Effect books, limiting our ability to leverage this innovative technology to support literacy development.
The goal of this project is to enhance literacy and engagement among elementary students by incorporating Novel Effect books into our library collection.
Novel Effect is an innovative technology that enhances storytelling by adding sound effects, music, and narration to children's books, transforming reading into a multisensory experience. By providing access to Novel Effect books, we aim to ignite students' imaginations, improve their reading comprehension, and foster a love for literature.
