My Students
My students are a diverse, multicultural, inquisitive, hard-working, loving, and all-around special bunch. As a SETTS teacher, I work with both general education and special education students.
My students are all eager to learn, and they learn best through hands-on interactive materials, as well as the basic essential tools needed for every productive classroom.
I love to watch their eyes light up when they learn something new and when they're actively engaged. My heart skips a beat when they are active participants in their learning. I am always looking for new and challenging ways to engage them. My goal is for all of my students to reach their learning goals while enjoying what they learn.
My Project
When kids go are learning, and engaged teachers have their FULL attention! Hands-on learning is so important, especially when learning to read. Teaching phonics is super important to build the foundation for reading. These interactive phonics books would be an awesome book for my kiddos to use every morning! Not only does it cover a range of phonics and reading skills, but it is also interactive! These are a great way to engage them while they are learning! Choice, flipbooks, and a variety of different tasks this book provides are fun and engaging!
