My Students

My students are creative and inquisitive. They love engaging and collaborative learning activities. The students have a variety of interests and goals for their future. Many of them are planning to attend a four year university, but others have expressed interest in trade schools. A few students are planning on joining the military after graduation. Our school district is growing rapidly, and although we are building new schools, my class sizes are currently in the high 30s. Projects and programs that help me give more individualized instruction are vital.

My Project

The Nearpod subscription will help me make English lessons more interactive and engaging. Nearpod Gold has features like collaborative boards, where students can share ideas anonymously. This allows all students, even the shy quiet students, to participate in class discussions. The Gold subscription also has self-paced lessons so students can work through the content at a pace that fits their needs. If a student is absent during a Nearpod lesson, they can complete it at home. Using Nearpod, I can ensure all my students are receiving engaging and interactive lessons that will help prepare them for life after high school.
