My Project

My special education students have had massive negative impacts from the COVID-19 pandemic. The lack of in-person learning forced them to do everything digitally and participate in their education in one way. Sitting at a desk working on a computer is not a one-size-fits-all learning style. By implementing flexible seating, students will have choice and voice in how they engage with the learning community. The supplies on my list will be used by students to create their Interactive Notebooks where they are able to create notes, show their work, and create academic resources they can use how they see fit to improve their understanding of the content. My goal is for students to be able to engage with learning that best suits their needs, goals, and ultimately their success.
