My Students

We attend a kindergarten center that is located in a rural area with high poverty. We LOVE hands-on, interactive, kinesthetic learning activities. We are always on the move and there isn't much time for slowing down around here. In our kindergarten classroom, it is a great time in life for students to start learning about how to be autonomous! Learning new skills in all areas of life and growing is what we do best.

My Project

With these number puzzles, Abacus, and Math games I will be able to demonstrate and provide visuals of how our math skills are done! Visuals are so important for all kinds of learners but especially Kindergarten students. I will also be able to use these to create math-based centers for kids to learn and play daily.

We all know that math can seem scary and a bit intimidating, but with these interactive tools my students can feel comfortable and confident with numbers and counting!

Let's make math cool again by helping students enjoy math at a young age!
