My students need software to use with the interactive learning boards to allow them to reinforce the lessons in an engaging manner. The software includes CD-ROM's for 2 Math Quiz Game Shows, a Math Games Library, and a Secrets of Science Games Library.

My Students
Students love to use technology to demonstrate learning. In these challenging times, it is difficult to find both technology based as well as human resources. Students need the opportunity to demonstrate learning in a way that keeps them interested in lessons.
I teach at a Title 1 school that like so many is dealing with financial cutbacks.
My students are predominantly from economically disadvantaged homes lacking resources such as computers and educational materials. They need opportunities and experiences to grow as students and as people.
My Project
The software I requested is used on large interactive boards that allow students to take charge of their reinforcement of skills learned during the lessons. These programs make it fun to practice problem solving in both mathematics as well as science. Students want to use these programs so they make a great incentive for students to engage in class discussions to demonstrate higher order learning skills that will benefit them throughout their lives.
Students don't always have a say in the things that have great educational impact on their lives.
I have ascertained throughout the years that students want to use the computers and interactive boards to demonstrate learning and make learning fun. By funding this project, you make this all possible and I am grateful for your generosity.
