Celebrating Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month
This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because
it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.
My Project
My 7th and 8th grade scholars are excited about what Mathematics has to offer. They strive to do their best and love to work in collaborative groups to solve math problems or work on projects. My scholars motivate and support each other throughout the learning process. Each scholar works to meet their academic potential with support from myself and our team of educators, as well as their peers.
Our school has been recognized as a high achieving school and we would like that to become a trend that evolves into an expectation of success.
We want to ensure that our scholars are provided with the opportunities to learn and compete in such a competitive workforce and world.
Interactive Math Binders help my students gain a deeper understanding of the content while allowing them to be creative. My students begin each year by creating a table of contents so that they are easily able to find the notes they are looking for. In order to create their binders, a few things they will need are the binders, dividers, loose leaf paper, and art supplies. Many continue to use this resource as a reference tool in high school!
