School now looks very different compared to what we are used to seeing. We face new challenges to educate students. Students and families are doing their best, and educators also continue to do their best to meet the needs of our students.
The students I work with make me want to come to work each day.
They remind me why I became an educator and continue to inspire me each day. They remind me that working with them is helping the future become a better place.
My Project
The materials I am requesting will help students be engaged in their learning. They are interactive items and will allow students to be active learners. I believe in using materials that students enjoy to help elicit language. I work with students who have special needs and they need materials that will keep them engaged as they learn. Most of my items are language based so that students become more verbal and communicative (SL.K.1).
The donations in this project will help students be active learners.
Having interactive stories, manipulatives, and language based activities will help students find their voice. The past year had students learning in front of a screen for most or all of the school year. Help me give them the chance to have a hands-on learning experience. Thank you!
