This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because
it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.
My Students
My classroom consists of creative, energetic, loving students. All of the students in my classroom are students with Autism and a few of the students are English language learners. My students enjoy hands on learning and interactive activities. A set of classroom tablets would be beneficial to the students because they will be provided with an endless amount of resources through the use of technology. The students work well with technology and I have noticed that with the use of technology, the students tend to show interest in activities and achieve more successful outcomes.
My Project
I would like to integrate the latest technology into my students learning environment by providing the students with Apple ipads to use in the Listening Center. Research indicates that when used properly, technology can enhance the learning experience and increase academic performance. Technology will be used as a tool in my classroom to assist students in developing dialogue and interaction.
Educational and assistive technologies such as the Apple Ipads can make a difference by giving students ways to access and engage in visual representations and modeling.
Today's students have grown up with technology. Technology in the classroom helps ensure full participation and data analytics could be used to help spot areas where students might be struggling.
