Interactive Learning on the Carpet!

My Students

This year, I am blessed to be the teacher of 19 spunky kindergarteners who love coming to school each day! We are a part of a Title I school where all students receive free or reduced lunch. The campus, classroom furniture, and resources are often old and outdated because our resources are allocated to meeting some of the higher needs of our students.

Although many of my students face challenging obstacles, I believe that our classroom is a safe and warm place where students can learn and grow.

My group of students this year especially loves to sing, dance, learn about dinosaurs, and listen to stories. We love to begin and end our days with singing and playing the ukulele.

My Project

Learning on the carpet can sometimes be a little dull without the right materials. This interactive whiteboard will allow the students to have fun, stand up, move around, and engage in the lessons that are taught on the carpet! This will make our lessons more hands on and engaging.

By choosing to fund this project, you will help to enhance our library and provide colorful new books that the children can experience.

They are looking forward to the time that they can spend diving into the new pictures and stories! The students will be able to learn about new things and places through these stories.
