This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Students

My students are eager to learn daily despite the fact that most of them come to school with little or no school supplies. I focus on providing a fun and creative learning environment.

I teach at a Title I school where 100 percent of my students receive free breakfast and lunch daily.

My students are regular education and English as a Second Language Learners. Most of my students live in single parent homes. I know I can not change the struggles they face at home, but I can make sure their lives at school are positive, exciting and rewarding.

My Project

Having fun interactive learning activities provide an engaging learning environment for students. My students need sight word daily language acitivity journals, sight word and sentence building activities to build their vocabulary and use in whole and small groups. We can use the number line sliders boards, classroom magnetically numbers, foam number dice, double sided counters, double dice to help build counting, addition skills and number sense. We will use the laminating machines and laminating pouches to protect hanging pictures and milestone activities created by my students. Cases can be used to cover electronics for student use for individual work.

Having these activities and materials will help with skill building for my students.

Beginning sounds, Rhyming, Category Sorting and Opposites Ready To-Go Learning Packs can be used for individual or small groups. These packs will help with matching object that rhyme and allow sorting bases on different categories and skills. J My student can use number dots stamps and dry erase markers to form numbers correctly. This donation will allow my students to use interactive actitvies to learn in a fun interactive environment.
