This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because
it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.
My Project
In our class, we use interactive journals regularly. The students love learning with activities that they can interact with. I am requesting a Teachers Pay Teachers gift card so we can have hands-on, interactive activities in reading and science. We will use these activities to push vocabulary, specific reading benchmarks, and goals, and have reading resources for our book studies. In addition, we will get more science interactive activities that will help students learn benchmark skills.
Having interactive journals opens the doorway to learning in a fun way.
Students love working on interactive notebooks. They have fun as they learn. It allows students to learn a lot of material in a creative way. My goal is that my students will find some of the more time-consuming benchmarks to be more engaging and enjoyable. After all, kids remember how you made them feel while learning, and having them enjoy learning is the ultimate goal!
