Help me give my students a calming classroom that decreases anxiety and enriches their learning environment.

My Project

I have chosen items that will help my students focus on learning. My students utilize assistive technology on their Chromebooks, and using headphones makes it easier for them to engage with these tools effectively, breaking down barriers and enhancing their learning experience.

Alternative lighting will decrease anxiety providing a calm relaxing room.

My special education students come to school with a wide range of abilities on various levels. They come to school with anxiety, feel stress, lack self confidence, and they need a classroom that is comfortable and worry free, where they can be themselves.

My goal with the additions to my classroom is to create a safe, inviting, and exciting learning environment for all of my students regardless of abilities and capabilities.
