This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because
it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.
My Students
I work in a Title I school. My class consists of 60 percent General Ed. students and 40 percent Special Ed. students. This year I've had to provide my class with much of their supplies, books, tissues, pencils etc. My students' parents do not have the means to provide them with much. I have a very diverse class. I have many students who live in shelters, students who have been neglected, and so on. They are really lovely children. I only wish I could do more. With the donations I am asking for I am hoping to give my students the tools they will need to succeed. I am very grateful for any of the items I have placed in my cart.
My Project
Help our students thrive in the 21st century. These materials will help students become creative in varied activities. Groups work together – they experiment, observe, and use critical thinking to conclude the question. Students will learn how to solve problems and think critically. STEM education helps you better understand the world and relate to it. STEM involves introducing children to new concepts through activities and games. It essentially helps them live the concepts rather than only reading about them. These concepts can also sometimes be real-life problems where they need to find out the best possible solution to overcome it. This, in turn, inculcates in them creativity, innovativeness, and problem-solving skills – the must-have STEM skills in the 21st century.

Students will have the tools to enhance or help them with comprehension.Without comprehension, reading is a frustrating, pointless exercise in word recalling. It is no exaggeration to say that how well students develop the ability to comprehend what they read has a profound effect on their entire lives. A major goal of reading comprehension instruction, therefore, is to help students develop the knowledge, skills, and experiences they must have if they are to become competent and enthusiastic readers.
