Celebrating Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month
This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because
it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.
My Project
This upcoming year, with more than 100 students to serve, I want my students to create an interactive learning notebook of their learning process. Teaching six different classes, at six different levels, from above standard to far below standard, want to stay on top of the curriculum to assure all students are successful at the end of the year. The use of an interactive notebook will support my students learning within the short class time on a daily basis within content and sub-content. The Teachers Pay Teacher gift card will allow me to seek for the best resources avaliable by educator already teaching from a common core curriculum as we [my district] shifts and seeks towards adoption of a new textbook in the near future with the adoption of the new math California framework this past July 12, 2023.
The materials from this project will allow me to focus on each specific class more in dept, prepare materials, and allow me extra time in the day to plan STEM activities, extension activities while students use, create, reference their interactive learning notebook.
We all tend to forget; what a great way to provide yy advance, on-level, and far below level students a \hands o learning tool in which they will treasure their entire year and as they more towards higher math levels.
