My Project

Introduction

I am requesting a $200 gift card for Teacher Pay Teacher (TPT) to enhance my students' learning by integrating STEM with Math and ELA.

My students are curious, imaginative, and eager to learn, bringing diverse perspectives to the classroom.

How Each Resource Will Help Them Learn

STEM Challenge Kits: These kits will combine math and ELA skills with real-world problem-solving, such as designing a bridge, calculating load capacity (math), and writing a report (ELA).

Math-Infused Science Experiments: Experiments involving data collection and analysis (math) followed by writing lab reports (ELA) will demonstrate practical applications of math in science.

Engineering Design Process Activities: These activities will integrate problem-solving (math) and technical writing (ELA), requiring students to document their design process and create presentations.

STEM-Themed Reading Passages: Reading materials focused on STEM topics will enhance comprehension (ELA) and introduce scientific concepts, with follow-up writing activities.

Integrated Math and Science Projects: Projects combining mathematical concepts with scientific investigations will deepen understanding and include writing persuasive essays on findings.
