My Project

I am asking for supplies that will enrich my current lesson plans. There are many crafts integrated in our first grade lessons. However, because this is my first year teaching this grade, I do not have all of the supplies readily available. Therefore, I am seeking various materials that my students can use so they can experience art through different mediums. These supplies will also help me create stronger, more engaging anchor charts, that students will be able to look to for information.

Teaching is a work of the heart.

In order to keep the classroom a safe and engaging space, there are a lot of background materials that teachers often need. My school is very old, therefore, the heat is normally set at an extremely high temperature, making my classroom very hot. When it rains it becomes muggy and hot, hence the need for a fan and oil diffuser. Since I am relatively new to this career, I had to use my resources to create an engaging classroom. I used the back of my stapler to nail in posters, and my mini wired glue gun to post objectives. The purpose of the office supplies is to help make classroom chores completed by me easier, so I can focus more of my attention on the kids!
