This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Project

My students come from a variety of backgrounds but often don't have the interest or background in history due to the pandemic and other issues.

These books will help bring history in the classroom in a fun and engaging way.

Most of these books relate to material that is a history standard for 6th grade. Ancient History focusing on Egypt, Greece, and Rome are the backbone of our history curriculum but the textbook isn't all that engaging. These books will help bring history to life and make it more interesting for my students.
