My Project
All of the materials that I am requesting are to be used by our 5th graders to hand out at our annual Trunk or Treat night.
Our school is a PBIS school, which stands for Positive Behavior Intervention School.
We reward the students for their hard work and for making the right choices. Each week my students participate in lunch bunch, where they earn the ability to eat lunch in the classroom with their friends. In addition, my students earn Dojo points that they can turn in for prizes.
I am requesting, candy, blow-up baseball bats, blow-up light microphones, slap hands, bouncy balls, slime, squishies and more. All of which will be placed in my class store for students to choose from when they earn Dojo points.
These resources will also be used for our 5th graders to hand out at our annual Trunk or Treat event, where each grade level is required to have their own table. Our students will be learning leadership skills that will allow them to run our 5th grade booth where students will be given a ticket to play a game, which will earn them a ticket that can be turned in for a prize. The annual Trunk or Treat event is simply a way of building a sense of community with our families. It's a fun time for everyone to just come out and enjoy.
