Celebrating Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month
This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because
it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.
My Project
Students are more in tune with things that trigger them and comfort them. We have students requesting fidgets when they come in for SEL support so that they can have something immediate to release their anxiety and help them stay focused.
We also have students who request to come into the counseling office just to come use the fidgets that are available here.
If our school were to obtain these fidgets, we would be able to equip our students with an object that they can take with them and use at their leisure. Thank you!
