This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Project

I adore my 4th-grade bilingual students for their unwavering curiosity, cultural richness, and ability to adapt. Many of my students come from low-income households, and despite the challenges they face, they bring enthusiasm and curiosity to our learning environment every day. They are eager to learn, share, and celebrate each other's successes.

In a world dominated by digital screens, the tactile experience of holding a physical photo can be incredibly meaningful.

I'm seeking a Fujifilm Instax Mini 12 instant camera and film packs to help my students capture and cherish the moments that make our classroom special. Whether it's a science experiment, a reading milestone, or a group project, having the ability to instantly capture these moments will allow students to reflect on their learning and build a stronger classroom community. Displaying these photos around the classroom will not only brighten our space but also serve as a constant reminder of their achievements and the joy of learning. Additionally, students can take home their photos, sharing their school experiences with their families and fostering a deeper connection between home and school. Thank you for considering this project and for supporting my classroom's growth.
