My Project
The COVID-19 pandemic has had a significant impact on young students. It has led to learning gaps, hindered important developmental skills, and left many in need of reading intervention. To ensure the students can continue to develop their reading skills and achieve academic success, hands-on materials such as the language learning center, vowel sounds, blends, and digraphs. These centers will be a great addition to our intervention materials effective in engaging and motivating students, especially when it comes to reading intervention as well as building the language skills in phonics. These items will be used with struggling learners since we know that early intervention is most effective.
