My Project

Writing Workshop is a very important part of our day. Students study and write varied genres throughout the year. I LOVE teaching writing and hope to inspire my students to feel the same, including my reluctant writers. I have found that an inviting Writing Workshop Center stocked with varied tools plays an important role in motivation.

The materials in this project will allow me to utilize all the important materials I use on a daily basis to help and inspire my young writers, including the reluctant ones.

I am always looking for ways to make the center more inviting to students and a part of their day they are very excited about!

The variety of writing instruments, paper, and organizational tools will help to inspire my students to create and become creative, inspired writers. Kids love to write when they are given fun and motivational materials, and I hope this will create a new love of the writer's craft. My reluctant writers need a new start as well, and I hope to give them a chance to see writing in a new light.

The blank books included will allow them to create their own book by the end of the year, which they will be able to display as published writers.
