My Project

Teaching filmmaking presents a dynamic opportunity for professional growth, offering myself a platform to develop new skills, foster creativity, and expand my professional network. One of the key aspects of running a successful film club is the utilization of camera equipment. I will have access to a range of equipment including cameras, lights, a green screen, and microphones. It will allow me to explore various aspects of filmmaking. Cameras are essential tools for capturing footage, and my skills in operating them effectively to frame shots and create visually compelling scenes will help me be a stronger support for students who produce films. Lights play a crucial role in setting the mood and enhancing the visual appeal of the film, teaching students about the importance of lighting in cinematography. The green screen provides a unique opportunity to experiment with visual effects and compositing. I can teach them to transport their characters to different locations or even fictional worlds. Microphones are essential for capturing clear audio, and learning how to use them to record dialogue, sound effects, and ambient noise, adding depth and realism to films is an important aspect of filmmaking. By using this equipment, I will enhance my filmmaking skills. Furthermore, I will have the opportunity to expand my professional network by collaborating with industry professionals and introducing students to film festivals and competitions, ultimately enriching their filmmaking interests while also enhancing my teaching practice.
