Inspiring The Brightest Minds of Tomorrow with Robotics
Help me give my students an Ozobot to ignite learning through curiosity as they learn how to code through computer science.

My Project
As Steve Jobs says, "Everyone should learn how to code, it teaches you how to think." As educators, we need to prepare our children for the twenty first century as they prepare for jobs in math, science, engineering, and technology through creativity and innovation. My students will benefit from having an Ozobot robot in the classroom. For example, the Ozobot will help me to bring STEM to life as I ignite student curiosity, critical thinking, problem solving, and creativity. This year, I plan to utilize many websites to teach my students how to code. I plan to use the hour of code website to provide activities for students to complete online. Once the students get acclimated with using this website, I would like to take learning a step further as the students apply what they learned to do robotics with Ozobots. This robot will turn the students' ideas into many great adventures as they learn through hands-on play. These robots will turn the students' ambitious ideas into reality as they explore, problem solve, and have fun at the same time through cooperative play.
This project donation will allow all students to excel in academics as they ignite their learning through curiosity.
Student engagement and motivation will increase as the students learn real life skills that are needed in the work force like collaboration, creativity, and communication. The Ozobot will enhance students understanding of coding in computer science. Students will now be able to have twenty first century skills as they are exposed to STEM education. Let's make this project happen as we continue to inspire the brightest minds of tomorrow.
