This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because
it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.
My Project
Good readers become good writers, so to support my writing instruction I am seeking mentor texts to help guide and facilitate my students' understanding of the writing process. The stories requested all center around family memories, which will help us when we begin our memoir writing unit.
Students can use these stories as examples of how authors use their own lives to inspire their writing.
My hope is they will be inspired by these mentors texts to write about their own lives. My mini authors and I thank you so much!
