Celebrating Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month

Celebrate Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month

This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Project

My third grade students are learning their foundational skills of multiplication, division, fractions, three digit addition and subtraction. Having the visuals of magnetic base ten and fraction pieces will help them make connections from concrete to abstract thinking.

Help my students do their best learning by using these magnetic pieces in both small group and whole group instruction.

My students will be able to show their thinking using both equations and the magnetics as visuals.

Finally, help them during snack time for the students that do not bring a snack to school.
