After two years of dealing with unknowns, my goal this year is to help my two classes of 4th graders get back into an easier rhythm while helping them grow. It hasn't been easy due to learning gaps and the ever-changing pandemic we've faced. Students are getting burnt out trying to face all of this on top of the changes a 4th grader goes through every year.
I want to show my students that they are being seen and are loved!
They've worked so hard this year that they deserve to be recognized. My goal is to provide them with encouragement to help them finish the year strong.
My Project
My learners have really worked hard this whole school year to get to where they are right now, but we are coming up to that time of year (Spring Break!) where they see the end in sight and start to drift away. I can't let that happen, so I am hoping some extrinsic incentives will help motivate students to keep going as we gear up for FSA testing.
We are working so hard in class that students should be rewarded!
I want to celebrate their growth and positive choices with them, and I know these items are ones that they LOVE.
