it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.
My Project
My wonderful Language Arts students love great books! They are smart, inquisitive, and eager to learn. They work hard, and enjoy our novel studies so much. After finishing our last novel together, they were so sad that it was over! I have 52 of the best 5th graders this year!
Having access to a class set of City of Ember will enrich my students' learning greatly.
Having one book per student enables them to dive more deeply into the story, and gives them a chance to reference the text when making inferences, finding the main idea, finding the theme, making connections to characters, and so much more! Thank you so much!
