My Students

Don't you enjoy reading about global events and doesn't it increase your curiosity? My students each have the opportunity to receive a weekly magazine designed at their level with their interests. Please provide them resources needed to take them aware of our world and ignite their curiosity

Our school is an inner city pilot school.

I work with 26 amazing enthusiastic second and third graders. Most of my students come from homes without books or computers. They are are curious learners, always investigating new topics in all of their classes and never stop asking "Why...?" My students love to learn, and learn best when they are actively engaged. They are hard working, motivated learners who enjoy working on projects and doing research on a wide variety of topics.

My Project

My students need a subscription of current events offered by TIME for Kids and other teaching resources such as, dictionaries and organization charts to enhance their learning. My young learners have a difficult time researching the Internet for reliable sources and are often bombarded with inaccurate information. Time for Kids will give them reliable information about real-world topics while enhancing their reading skills.

Your gracious donation will help the inquisitive minds in my classroom.

With a subscription to Time for Kids and a few classroom resources my students will learn how to complete various student led research projects.
