My Project

The elementary years are a crucial time for the development of reading skills and a passion for learning. Biographies offer a unique opportunity to captivate young minds, inspire curiosity, and instill important values. Unfortunately, our current resources lack a sufficient collection of age-appropriate biographies that cater to the diverse interests and reading levels of our students.

Project Goals:

a. Enhance literacy skills through the exploration of real-life stories.

b. Foster a sense of empathy, resilience, and understanding of diverse life experiences.

c. Encourage independent reading and research skills.

d. Support curriculum integration by providing additional resources for history and social studies subjects.

Project Activities:

a. Purchase a curated collection of biographies suitable for elementary students.

b. Organize reading clubs and activities to promote discussions and comprehension.

c. Plan, organize, and conduct research related to the specific grade level reading and writing content standards.

Expected Outcomes:

a. Increased interest in reading among elementary students.

b. Improved literacy and comprehension skills.

c. Heightened awareness and appreciation of diverse life stories.

d. Positive impact on academic performance and engagement.
