This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Project

The items that I am requesting will be used to create crafters that will use their crafts to empower themselves by expressing their creativity. The act of creating will give students a huge array of mental benefits that can only enhance the physical benefits of ‘doing’ and hopefully become relaxed and feel less stressed as a direct result of focus and learning

Upon completion of the “Inspiring Kids to Create” after school program students will have the experience to utilize the skills they have learned as a hobby, entrepreneurial experience or career.

Our students have been asking for a club like this. It will be something new and different in our school. I'm excited to get started.
