This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because
it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.
My Project
Help me give my students access to a beautiful writing center to encourage them to begin their journey as future writers! Early exposure to writing activities has been linked to later academic success, as it develops foundational skills necessary for learning across various subjects.
Having a designated writing center will help to encourage my 3K superstars to express their thoughts, ideas, and emotions through drawing and writing, fostering both verbal and non-verbal communication skills.
Regular interaction with writing materials helps toddlers recognize letters, understand print concepts, and begin to associate sounds with letters, laying the groundwork for reading. Engaging in writing activities strengthens fine motor skills, hand-eye coordination, and muscle control, which are essential for writing and other daily tasks.
