My students need a 3D printer and plastic filament so they can continue to create, design and watch their creations come to life.

My Students

I get the privilege of being the STEM teacher at BWE. I get to work with approximately 350 students every week in STEM. My school serves students in preschool through 4th grade.

My students have shown their enthusiasm for learning and exploration; they have told me that STEM has become one of their favorite classes.

In our class, they are working on developing 21st century skills including collaboration, communication, creativity, exploration, building, problem solving, and more.

Our goal is to "inspire and guide each student to his or her maximum potential". I want to provide my students with more opportunities to reach that potential.

My Project

My students are always very excited to come to STEM. I would like to supply them with more materials to use as they explore their curiosity, creativity, and excitement for discovery. I am requesting a 3D printer and plastic filament. This will allow them to plan, design, and create 3D objects.

These materials will help spark students' creativity and imagination as well as give them an opportunity to see their designs come to life.

They can develop skills such as molding, sculpting, and creating a blueprint, which requires them to go through the Engineering Design Process. These skills will help prepare them for their future and provide excellent opportunities for learning while offering an innovative way for students to develop design skills.
