This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because
it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.
My Project
My students are a vibrant and curious group of learners who thrive on hands-on activities and creative expression. They come from diverse cultural backgrounds, and I love finding ways to celebrate and honor their traditions while fostering an engaging learning environment.
This Lunar New Year, I want to bring joy and excitement into our classroom by providing Play-Doh and small toys as special incentives.
These items will be used as rewards for participation, effort, and achievement during our Lunar New Year activities, including crafts, storytelling, and lessons about the holiday's traditions.
Play-Doh offers an opportunity for my students to express their creativity, develop fine motor skills, and engage in imaginative play. The small toys will serve as meaningful tokens to celebrate their hard work and accomplishments while also tying into the festive spirit of the Lunar New Year.
By incorporating these fun and engaging incentives, we can create a warm and inclusive environment where every student feels valued and motivated to participate.
