My Students

Teaching 4 and 5 years old children to think actively and creatively about helping others in our community is a fantastic job. I am always looking for new resources to help keep the kids engaged, learning, and growing.

I teach prekindergarten in a wonderful school in the heart of Texas.

The school serves a very diverse population with students from ethnic backgrounds found all over the world. We truly are a "melting pot" and an authentic reflection of the diverse and cultural rich city in which we live. The school also qualifies as a Title 1 school and serves many child from a low socioeconomic background.

My Project

I would like materials for my students that would help them to think like real-life doctors, nurses, and veterinarians. I would like simple costumes and study materials to help my students have a chance to really demonstrate what it means to be a community helper.

These resources will help to inspire my students to think and act in a real world way.

They will help them to learn that individuals can contribute positively to a larger community. I want them to think and believe that they can be the next generation of professionals that help others. Thank you for your time and consideration.
