My Students
My students are eager learners who enjoy using technology to enhance their daily learning. Technology can often be a spark that fuels a drive to engage and challenge the minds of active first graders!
My classroom is a wonderful group of active, thinking first graders.
They come to school excited to learn. It is part of my mission to encourage them to challenge their minds and strive to love learning.
Our school community cares deeply about the children entrusted to us. We strive to work together to educate the whole child and meet the needs of all children, regardless of ability levels or economic circumstances.
My Project
The new curriculum used at our school is developed in an online format and written for the Common Core State Standards (CCSS) that connects multiple content areas, and skills. TECHNOLOGY also engages students by lighting the spark they need to fuel a drive in learning for life.
Technology is used to enhance and deliver curriculum to students, and plays a significant role in the implementation of our integrated curriculum. Staff members access an online platform where the curriculum is housed.
Thanks to our previous Donors Choose Grant, the acquisition of our new Apple iPad, makes it easy to get to these lessons quickly but we need an iPad case and a locking technology cart to safe guard the equipment.
Our school is a very busy place, with people coming in and out daily.
We try to have a friendly open door policy for all, but have had difficulties from time to time with things being stolen from the building.
A partner iPad case and locking technology cart will ensure the new equipment will remain safe without having to disconnect everything and lock it up after each daily use.
