My Students

My students and Envision are so resilient. They've gone through so much because of the pandemic and they're school from last year closing. They came to Envision with open hearts and open minds. They are eager to learn from their teachers and from each other. They love being active out in the yard but also exploring their interests through books and art. They give the school so much joy!

My Project

I work in the learning center and these books will help some of my struggling students get motivated to read. They need books that are on their level so they can work on reading more and more each day.

These art supplies will be used as coping materials for the students.

A lot of them have gone through a lot and then need an outlet when they're at school. I will use the journals to teach them how to express their feelings in a healthy way. And the clay will be used during mindfulness to help ease their minds and to focus on creating.
