This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Project

These pieces of wall art will be used to decorate my therapy office where I will be providing individual, family and group therapy to students and families seeking services at our wellness center.

Students facing stress, trauma, anxiety, and depression come to the wellness center for support and healing.

Creating an environment that fosters hope and encourages self-reflection motivates our students to seek their own path in improving not only their lives but the lives of others.

What better way to instill hope than to see the words of so many who have endured and come out on the other side?
