This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Project

Thank you for taking the time to learn more about what teachers will find helpful in the classroom. As a Kindergarten teacher, I enjoy watching my students make choices during their STEAM (free exploration time). I like offering them choices in the Science, Technology, Engineering, Arts, and Math exploration centers.

Goggles will be great to have in the classroom as we dive into Science, giving me opportunities to work on fun classroom experiments for the coming months.

Pete the Cat books will help enrich our library with one of their favorite characters. When there are engaging books in our library, students will gravitate to books during free choice time.

I would like to offer students a variety of materials to choose from because I think it is important for them to have options and many memorable experiences when exploring STEAM exploration stations.
