My students are a fun, curious, and energetic bunch. At 5 years old, they enter the classroom ready to learn, explore, and discover. Their love for learning is evident in everything they do! They are at an exciting age where they want to know just about everything. My students are special learners that need special materials and supplies to increase their engagement and understanding of the content. They are encouraged to learn in ways that are best suited to their needs. As they are taught how to self regulate, their independence both in and out of the classroom is fostered and encouraged daily.
My Project
The materials that I am requesting will provide a productive and engaging learning opportunity for my students to increase their learning in beginning to read and understanding math concepts. The alphabet box will help my students explore, identify, and sort letter sounds through a variety of objects. The ten frames manipulatives will help my students explore essential math concepts. I would also like to request for other organizational supplies that would benefit my students in the areas of their learning needs such as academics, behaviors, and communication. Your support will help our class tremendously to access all they need to be successful in their learning.
