Help me give my students the interactive magnetic pegboard of their dreams! A magnetic marble run, geoboard, and gear board all in one are in store for my super scientists!
Can you imagine being 5 years old and walking into your school's brand new science lab? You are in awe of new sinks, giant ikea leaves, and numerous plants.
Just when you think you can't be more excited, you turn and see an interactive wall piece the size of you!
Today, it has magnetic marble run pieces. After a mini lesson on force and motion, you get a turn at the wall! This hands on approach excites you and you don't think science could get any better.... UNTIL you come next time and the wall has working gears.... or the next time when it is a giant geo-board with golf tees and rubber bands... or the next when there are knex!
Please consider contributing to the success of our interactive STEM wall! We have a few pieces of magnetic pegboard but hope to grow the offerings of extras on the wall and eventually the wall itself! This wall will also serve as an opportunity for students to calm down and get some movement out. It will always be present in our room and can serve as a spot for early finishers or students needing a break!
